The Mission IM-Possible Project - Est.Twenty15

The Twenty16-17 Senior Technology Workshop!

Our Twenty16 Backpack Drive

In 2010, Building Futures, Inc. hosted their 1st annual backpack drive and donated over 150 backpacks filled with supplies to McKinley Elementary in Compton, California and with your generous donations and support we have donated hundreds of backpacks and school supplies to date. The Children really are the future. On behalf of everyone here at BFI, we'd like to thank you for your support. Helping build futures and visions with integrity is our ultimate goal. We also support children from financially distressed families by donating backpacks and school supplies during our annual backpack drive. BFI was designed with a mission to empower, engage, educate and inspire today’s youth and young adults. Our mobile community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help students reach their full ability and potential to become successful leaders of tomorrow.

Nonprofit organizations are a crucial part of our society, providing help to the needy, education for a lifetime & funds for great causes. We believe through the arts, education, motivation, determination, dedication & Faith, anyone can become & remain successful in society today. We do not require that you belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support our organization in any way. We do ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness. This way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely. We are tireless in our efforts to improve the conditions of our communities. Our organization is based on the codes and conduct of Philanthropy. GIVING BACK IS KEY! We help those in time of need. Our non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow citizens, and serve as a guiding light.

Our volunteer base is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact upon our community. We welcome new volunteers with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of the BFI family. We are always looking for volunteers. We believe volunteering, brings happiness and strength.

A Non-profit 501(c)3 Organization

BFI's fearless leader, Kia Green, assisted the Palisades Alliance for Seniors in securing student volunteers from Palisades Charter High School with their 1st Senior Technology Workshop Series and we're off to a great start! The purpose of this series is to help senior citizens understand the basics of modern-day devices (smart phones, ipads, ipods, lap tops, etc.) and bridge the generational divide together through technology.
